What we cannot help with
We cannot provide pirated copies of copyrighted books, bypass paywalls, or remove titles from external archives. We do not offer technical support for third-party retailers or Gutenberg’s own download tools.
Response expectations
We aim to respond to substantive editorial mail within several business days. Abuse, spam, or automated solicitations may be ignored or filtered.
Privacy when you write to us
Email correspondence is used only to handle your request. We do not sell contact lists or add editorial correspondents to marketing newsletters without explicit consent. See our Privacy Policy for broader data practices.
Reporting abuse or security issues
If you believe content on Xdrapi infringes your rights, or if you discover a security vulnerability, email editorial@xdrapi.com with enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. Good-faith reports are taken seriously; we may request additional documentation for rights claims.
Press and partnerships
Media inquiries should include your outlet, deadline, and the angle you are pursuing. Partnership proposals should explain audience fit and how the collaboration respects our public-domain mission. We decline link schemes, paid catalog placement, and any arrangement that would compromise editorial independence.
Language and accessibility
We currently correspond in English. If you need an accommodation to report an accessibility barrier, describe the page URL, your device, and browser so we can reproduce the issue.
Frequently asked questions
Can I request a new book? Suggestions are welcome if the title is clearly in the public domain in the United States and available from a reputable archive. We cannot add modern bestsellers or works under active copyright.
Can I reuse your editorial text? Short quotations with attribution may be acceptable under fair use; bulk reproduction of our original reviews and shelf copy is not permitted without written permission.
Do you offer API access? We do not provide a public API for scraping the library. Automated bulk access may violate our Terms of Service and harm site performance for other visitors.
Where can I read the full legal terms? Our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy are linked in the site footer on every page.
